Knoxville’s own, Josh Hughett didn’t take your typical road to Nashville. Opting instead to spend years in Isle of Palms, honing his craft, before taking on the Music City. Now with the help of some notable co-writers, he is well on his way to making is mark in Nashville. It doesn’t take long listening to Josh’s music, to realize that most of his lyrics come from a very real place. And rightful so. Having dealt with his fair share of personal trials, Hughett relied on music and good friends to help him through. He now uses his music to help advocate for individuals in need. When asked, Josh’s ultimate goals are to live comfortably and to be a force for positive change in people’s lives however he can. Whether it’s through music, or some other means.
